As I sit, staring at my computer screen, pondering the meaning of life, I often get a certain look on my face…

It’s a look of focus. Very strategic and full of intent.

It can only be described as my “SEO face”.

My Digital Roots Run Deep

If you’re here, it’s probably because someone told you about me (since I work pretty much exclusively by referral). But, I’ll give a brief introduction and a little history so you can feel all warm and fuzzy like you actually know me.

I’m Jeff Bernheisel and I’ve been doing this “Internet marketing” thing since 1995… back when there really was no “Internet” as we know it today. Back then, I was connecting to bulletin boards with my 28.8k modem, slinging funny t-shirts that a friend and I designed as a project in one of our business classes.

More recently, I’ve been working in the technology side of the Real Estate industry for a WordPress IDX developer and Real Estate brokerage in Portland, Oregon. Weird combo, right? It actually works out pretty well. We build some really cool websites for our agents, and one of my main focuses is on helping them optimize the living hell out of those sites, so they can actually get business from them. Hence the “emphasis on the O” tagline.

I help our agents with WordPress setup and optimization, creating good content using proper on-page SEO strategies, getting the search engines to find the content using off-page SEO strategies, and even work with them on various ways to promote their content and activities to their sphere using social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, when appropriate.

Now enough about me, what I can do to help YOU?
