One thing is certain – As much as a person would like to just go over to the neighboring property and mow it themselves, or pay someone else to do it, there are serious liability issues. Since they would have no real business or permission to be on the property, if they should fall or be injured in some way, the current Homeowner’s Insurance (required while up for sale to protect the Bank’s interest) would NOT cover the person’s medical expenses, not to mention any time lost from work due to the injuries.
